5K Volunteers

Our end of season 5K provides a tangible sense of accomplishment to participants. To celebrate and make the experience one to remember, there are many opportunities to get involved.

Group Opportunities

Are you part of a group or organization that wants to make an impact on our community? Girls on the Run would love to have you get involved with our program. Here are few ways you can make a difference while working together.

  • Volunteer together at a Girl on the Run 5K event – from cheer teams to water stations to handing out medals at the finish line and more – there are numerous ways for you to help bring this joyful end of season celebration to life!
  • Support with one-day volunteer opportunities.
  • Volunteer for or financially support a team for a season.

One-Time Opportunities

Want to volunteer, but can't commit to a full season of coaching? Email us and we can help you get involved!

Project or Skill-Based Opportunities

Do you have a specific skill set you would like to use for Girls on the Run? Our council is seeking volunteers who can support on a project-by-project basis. Our current needs are: photography and videography. Send us an email letting us know what skills you'd like to offer to use with our organization!
